Vendors

Attendance at events hosted by the Rocketry Organization of California (ROC) is AT YOUR OWN RISK. Insurance to cover your rocketry activities is available as a benefit of membership in either the National Association of Rocketry (membership form) or the Tripoli Rocketry Association (membership form). Please note that membership in ROC does NOT include insurance, or any assumption of liability on the part of ROC. ROC membership allows you to fly at all of our launches without paying the daily launch fees, and a few other membership benefits. All attendees at ROC events must sign the ROC Agreement and Liability Release Form to indicate understanding and acceptance of the risk and liability.

Support the following vendors who support ROC!

Be a ROC Vendor

The membership of ROC truly appreciate the vendors that make the trip out to the launch site every month to provide us with motors, kits, and other stuff every month. If you would like to be a vendor, please contact ROC and let us know you will be attending. We are usually able to provide a prime spot up front on the flight line, but we do need advance notice to do that.

For minimal hassle, please plan to arrive and set up well in advance of the start of the launch. This would be prior to 7AM for regular monthly launches, and prior to 12PM Friday for our 3-day ROCstock launches. Once we start launching it may be impossible to provide access to the front of the flight line.

Most importantly, you need to have all of the proper permits to conduct your commercial activity. This especially includes a BLM Sellers Permit. They have made it our responsibility to enforce this and we will be checking to make sure you have one. Contact the BLM Barstow Field Office for more information. Note that it may take several months to get this permit.

You may camp if you arrive the night before. There is no fee but be sure to read the Camping Page because there are some BLM rules we all must follow. Please also note that the “No RV” restriction within 30 feet of the flight line does apply to vendors as well.

Also be sure to read both the Fly with ROC Page and the Spectators Page prior to attending.
