Since it is August and we will be on a desert lakebed, we are expecting high temperatures for the August 10 launch.
To help beat the heat, we will begin launching at 7 AM instead of our normal 8 AM.
We will also be monitoring the temperature on the lakebed and may end the launch earlier due to heat.
Please ensure you prepare for the conditions. A good hat, plenty of water, sunblock, etc. Bring shade if you have it!
Avoid caffeine, especially energy drinks! Sports drinks can be very helpful in staying hydrated.
We will be launching August 10, but a bit earlier than normal.
